What We Collect

• Account information — email address and display name when you create an account.
• Chat conversations — messages you send and deck lists generated during your sessions. These are stored so you can resume conversations later.
• Usage data — anonymous analytics such as page views and feature usage to help us improve the product.
• Affiliate click tracking — when you click links to card retailers (like TCGplayer), we track which cards you viewed to measure the effectiveness of our affiliate partnerships. For authenticated users, this is linked to your account; for anonymous users, we use a session identifier.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Manacove service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude API) — your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Scryfall API — card data is fetched from Scryfall's public API. No personal data is shared with Scryfall.

Affiliate Links & Commissions

Manacove participates in affiliate programs with card retailers, including TCGplayer. When you click on links to these retailers and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not affect your price or cost anything extra — it simply helps support the project.

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie (typically lasting 48 hours) to track your purchase for commission purposes. This cookie is set by the retailer, not by Manacove. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Additionally, when you click on affiliate links to card retailers (like TCGplayer), those retailers may set cookies to track purchases for commission attribution (typically for 48 hours).

You can control your cookie preferences using the cookie consent banner that appears on your first visit. Choosing "Essential Only" will disable affiliate tracking on our end, though retailers may still set cookies when you visit their sites.

Data Retention

Your account data and chat history are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
